Today we are so excited to be walking you through the master bedroom of our Seattle Magnolia Project! Last week on the blog, we revealed the open, airy kitchen and moody family room. If you missed it, you can check that out here.
This modern coastal master bedroom nestled in Seattle, Washington is the perfect place to relax and unwind. With its stunning views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, this master bedroom is sure to provide a tranquil atmosphere for our clients. To continue the coastal design, we featured a neutral color palette with pops of blue and green. The walls are painted in a crisp white, while the light oak floors add warmth.
The centerpiece of this coastal bedroom is the bed. The bed frame features cane arches for a soft neutral look with lasting modernity. The bed is flanked by a nightstand and side table for storage and style. Above the bed hangs a beautiful black and white sketch of the sea, adding to the coastal feel of the room. We found this gorgeous oval mirror and knew we had to debut it. The gold trim around the mirror compliments the wall sconces above the bed perfectly.
How cute is this window nook?! It is the perfect place to relax and take in the view. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, making the room feel bright and airy. The seating area is comfortable and inviting, with plush cushions and plenty of space for two people to sit. We love the personality that it adds to the room. To dress it up, we brought in additional accent pillows in different combinations of blue and white -- adding a pop of color and complimenting the coastal vibes by inviting a classic and timeless feeling.
Lastly, we have the lovely reading corner. We chose this white chair with wooden legs that adds a touch of sophistication and style to the room. The chair is comfortable and inviting, perfect for curling up with a good book or magazine. The wooden legs provide stability and a classic look that will never go out of style. We love adding a reading corner in all of our master bedroom designs if this space allows. It is the perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet.
