Responsibilities
Manage Lexi’s calendar and inbox with precision and discretion
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Keep track of Lexi’s ongoing tasks and to-dos, and help prioritize what needs her attention
Maintain organized records and digital files
Oversee office tasks and personal errands
Assist at project installs
Jump in where needed—this is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, creative environment
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is/has:
Excellent written, verbal, and follow-up communication skills
Able to juggle multiple deadlines and stay calm under pressure
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines at once
Tech-savvy—comfortable with Google Workspace, task/project management tools, and learning new systems
Discreet, proactive, and a natural problem-solver
A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
Ability to lift to 50 lbs
Willingness to travel for out-of-state site visits and installs
Based in or willing to relocate to the Phoenix area. The studio is located in Mesa.

Now Hiring: Junior Designer
Full-Time, In-Person | Mesa, AZ
Lexi Westergard Design is a luxury interior design studio located in Arizona, working with clients nationwide and beyond. We create beautiful, livable spaces through thoughtful design. We are known for our attention to detail, our collaborative culture, and the quality of our client relationships. We are growing, and we are looking for a Junior Designer who wants to build a long term career in high end residential design.
We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our Design Team and help bring residential projects from first concept through final installation. You will move between multiple projects at once, supporting our designers at every stage of the process and gaining exposure to how a high end studio really operates behind the scenes. If you are eager to learn, sharp on the details, and ready to grow in a fast paced, collaborative environment, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities
Support design team through every phase of a project, from concept to installation
Formulate design solutions independently under the guidance of the Senior Designer
Build and maintain Spec Schedules
Get pricing and quotes for furnishings and build materials
Prepare quality presentation materials and support the team ahead of client meetings
Take initiative to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and keep projects moving on schedule
Communicate clearly and confidently with vendors, subcontractors, and the internal team
Take meeting notes and help track and distribute action items
Help manage project timelines and flag potential delays
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and manage the Studio material library
Order and track samples, including fabric, tile, stone, and paint
Create and update floor plans, elevations, and space planning layouts
Assist with furniture installations
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is/has:
Based in the Phoenix area, with willingness to travel for projects
2+ years of experience working in interior design
2+ years of experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp, with strong proficiency required
Experience creating construction documents for a design firm
Strong working knowledge of trade vendors and sourcing channels
Proficiency in Google Drive, Slack, experience with project management or procurement software (e.g., Studio Designer, Houzz Pro, or similar) is a plus
Highly detail oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Confident, clear communicator who can be assertive with vendors when needed
A collaborative mindset and genuine excitement to grow within a design team
A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for installs
