10 Everyday Luxuries Our Clients Always Ask For
When clients say they want their home to feel luxurious, it goes beyond high-end materials. The underlying feeling they are having is: “I want my life to feel easier, calmer, and more beautiful…every single day.”
This is a necessity for our clients. Homes that are functional, intentional, and designed to make the ordinary moments feel extraordinary. This blog post features our French Chateau Project which includes all of the luxuries we are talking about today.

Steam Showers
Once you have one, regular showers feel kind of sad. It’s spa vibes at home and turns your daily routine into something you actually look forward to.
Hidden Tech
We love when tech disappears into the design. TVs that don’t dominate the room, outlets where you need them but nowhere else, speakers you can’t see. And when you’re remodeling or building, you have the opportunity to make all of that happen.
Butler’s Pantry
A butler’s pantry is life changing for those that love to host, those with big family or those that just love to cook. A room for an extra sink, appliances, tons of storage, and a place to hide the not-so pretty kitchen gadgets. And when you have lots of room and everything has a place, your kitchen instantly feels calmer and more functional.
On the left, we have the main kitchen and on the right, the butler’s pantry. I love how these spaces complement each other.
Panel Ready Fridge + Freezer
I find this to be essential for our clients…it takes your kitchen from good to great. When appliances blend into the cabinetry, the whole kitchen feels more custom and pulled together. It’s one of those details that changes the entire space without being loud about it.
Panel Ready Dishwasher
Same idea. Less visual clutter, more clean, cohesive design. Pro tip: add a second one. It’s something cheaper than adding more cabinetry. You don’t think you need two dishwashers until you have them.
Built-In Ice Maker
Once you have nugget ice, you never go back. Drinks are better. Hosting is easier. Water tastes better. It’s just the truth! But there is nothing worse than the eye sore of a massive ice maker on the counter. That’s why we make sure our client’s homes have them seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry.
Appliance Garage
Coffee makers, toasters, blenders, all tucked away but easy to access. Your counters stay clean without sacrificing convenience. We call that a win-win.
Appliance Garage
A gorgeous mudroom with a dedicated spot for bags, shoes, mail, and keys. Functional but also beautiful. This is one of the most underrated features in a home. We always add enough lockers with outlets included for each member of the family.
Double Washer + Dryer
Yes, two of each. Especially for families (or those who have lots of clothes…like me), this cuts laundry time in half and makes life feel way less chaotic. It’s a must!
Pet Zones
We always design with pets in mind. Feeding stations, storage for supplies, or a wash area make daily life easier and your home more functional. In the same idea, a built-in dog bed. It’s cute, practical, and way better than a random dog bed floating around your living room.
Final Thoughts
Luxury today isn’t about having more stuff. It’s about having a home that works better, feels calmer, and supports your daily life in small, thoughtful ways. These are the features that quietly make a house feel really good to live in. And that’s the kind of luxury we care about.
