Lexi in Paris: Favorite Spots + Outfits

Bonjour! I am officially back home and riding a high from my trip to Paris. If you can even believe, I have never been before. I always felt pulled to Paris and now I know why. It was more beautiful, magical, and amazing than I ever could have imagined.

From the architecture to the yummy food to the shopping, I was in heaven you guys. I wanted to do a little round up for you guys and share my itinerary, tips, and outfit details. Here’s a look at some of my favorite experiences from the trip, organized into the spots and moments that truly made it unforgettable.

Architecture + Design

As a designer, Paris felt like a playground. The second I arrived I started taking tons of photos and my camera roll is now filled with photos of architecture, beautiful details, and a whole lot of marble. Here are just the highlights:

The Louvre

No Paris trip would be complete without the Louvre. We spent about two and a half hours there, which was the perfect amount of time for me to see the highlights without feeling completely overwhelmed. I highly recommend doing a guided tour. It’s the best way to make sense of such a massive museum and to catch the most iconic pieces.

The energy, the scale, the architecture…it was all so inspiring. For anyone visiting, a tour helps you see it all without the museum fatigue setting in.

My Birthday

If there was ever a place to celebrate a birthday, Paris is it. It was one of those pinch-me days that felt straight out of a movie. My husband, Jared, and I started the morning slow with massages (my favorite way to relax). After that, we got ready for professional photos and I am so excited to see how they turned out!

Then we wandered around, taking photos in front of the prettiest corners, buildings, and of course, did some shopping. Then, we did a private boat tour on the Siene with the Eiffel Tower in the background. It was so magical! Then came dinner: it was elegant and a delicious!

It was one of those days that made me feel so grateful and loved.

Staying at Versailles

Staying at Versailles was absolutely unforgettable. We had our own butler, macaroons everywhere, and a room that felt straight out of another era. The hotel is designed to give you the experience of life back then, and it truly does.

We tried the wake-up service (so much less awkward than it sounds) and had the best tea I’ve ever had outside our room with staff in period clothing. Later, we toured the king’s private apartments and the Hall of Mirrors with almost no one around. It was surreal.

Dinner was a full production. We had Duke and Duchess titles, ate family style, and every course was presented exactly as it would have been in that era. The chef, Alain Ducasse, holds 21 Michelin stars, so every bite was so delicious.

The next morning we visited the Queen’s Hamlet, where the buildings look quaint outside but are full of marble and luxury inside. Versailles was an experience I’ll never forget. I’ll be making a full video soon to share even more.

Paris Outfits

I had so much fun putting together outfits for the chilly Paris weather. It was full-on fall fashion, and honestly, such a treat to dress for the season. I did a little shopping while I was there, so not every piece is linked, but most of it is. Big shoutout to my adorable flats that survived 14,000 steps with zero pain!

Paris was pure inspiration at every turn. From iconic art and design details to luxurious stays and endless shopping, every moment felt unforgettable. This trip will forever influence my work, my daily life, and everything I create moving forward. Cheers!

Au Revoir,

Lexi
