Vermont Remodel: Master Bathroom Before and After

Today I am sharing the last room in the Vermont Remodel, the master bathroom. The transformation of this room is quite incredible. We completely gutted the bathroom. The only thing left were the cabinets and we had them painted white. My client never used the tub, so we removed it and made the shower bigger. They wanted the overall feeling of the space to be like a spa and I think we accomplished that. Since it is not a huge room we stuck with marble on the surrounding floor as well as the shower floor. By having the shower floor in contrasting patterns it adds interest while not breaking up the space too much since it is the same tone. We also stuck to only having three different tiles so it didn’t seem too busy. Now for the before and after, I hope you enjoy!:)

Love it, it’s everything I’d pick ! It’s clean fresh and usable! And very beautiful!
I think I have chosen almost all the same finishes and I have the same lay out. Only difference is I take my talk all the way up and across from the shower to the opposite wall. Thank you for shAring I just found your site.

Can you tell me the size of your shower? We are doing a total gut/remodel and this is the doorless shower I want but am concerned about size. We gave about 44 inches each way to work with. Do you have problems with over spray?

      Hi Renise,

This is my clients shower so I am not sure if the exact measurements. The size you have seems reasonable to help with over spray problems just make sure you check the spray radius of your shower head. Good luck!

Can you tell me what are the names and sizes of the wall and floor tiles and the grout color. Thank you

The floor is a 1″ marble hexagon, and the shower floor is a herringbone I have linked the exact tile used at the bottom of the post. The subway tile is just a standard 3×6 size.
